I am a self-educated crafter and artist; everything I know I learned from books,
magazines, or experimentation. I’ve always loved making things, and have dabbled in many crafts – counted cross-stitch, knitting,
sewing, bobbin lace-making, and quilting, to name a few. Recently I have been drawn into the world of paper arts, which I fear
will become another obsession. |

In 1993 I picked up a booklet on making beaded jewelry at a local craft store, and thus began my beading obsession. I employ
traditional beadwork stitches in creating my one-of-a-kind jewelry. I have two distinct styles. I love to make jewelry that has
an earthy, organic look – in these pieces I often incorporate stone. Or I make jewelry that has an antique, long-time-ago look.
I also enjoy using wire in my work, whether in combination with beadwork or on its own. |

My accomplishments include: two of my pieces were finalists in the 2000 Bead & Button Show; I have taught several classes
at My Father’s Beads in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania; and one of my bracelets, Raissa, was featured in the August 2007 issue
of Bead & Button magazine. |

I reside in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, with my husband Marc, son Julian, and daughter Lily. And a lot of beads!
