Joggles.com Joggles is a fabulous online store
focusing on textile and mixed media arts. You can find all sorts of ribbons and cords, tons of patterns for dolls, handbags,
and clothing, an entire library of crafting books, fabric paints, felting supplies, rubberstamps, papers, embellishments, and of
course, beads. The owner is always adding new products, and you can subscribe to the weekly newsletter to find out what's new.
You can also take an online course. You're sure to find things on this website that you didn't even know existed.
Stampington.com Stampington & Company
offers a great selection of magazine and other publications focusing on wearable, paper and mixed media arts. I am a big fan of two
of their magazines, Belle Armoire, which focuses on wearable arts, and Somerset Studio, which focuses on paper and mixed media.
I also have several of their other publications - Belle Armoire Jewelry and Artful Blogging. All of their publications are
high-quality, beautiful, and incredibly inspiring. The website also features a store, where you can get tons of gorgeous papers,
all manner of embellishments, rubberstamps and inks, and lots of other super-cool stuff. They also have a gallery with hundreds
of beautiful works by many different artists, some of which include instructions.
Jessica Galbreth Jessica Galbreth is a well-known artist who specializes in
fairies and goddesses. Her creations are dark, dramatic, and gothic. Her work takes many forms - you can purchase everything from
original prints to lithophane lamps to figurines to calendars to coffee mugs. I myself have a journal-type book with lined
pages that I use as my calendar book, and I also have a trinket box. If you love fairies and goddesses, check it out.
Metalliferous Metalliferous is where I buy all of my wire, sheet
metal, and metal-working tools. They offer all kinds of metal - fine silver, sterling silver, copper, brass, aluminum, plus
others - in various forms such as wire, sheet, rod, tube, shapes, etc. You can find all kinds of tools, from files to hammers
to soldering supplies to drills and pretty much anything else you need to work with metal. Metalliferous also sells findings, stringing supplies,
and books. My only complaint is that they do not have an online store, but they have such a great selection at good prices that I
am willing to put up with the inconvenience of filling out an order form and mailing it.
